Bermuda Triangle - What is really out there?

The Bermuda Triangle - the greatest modern mystery in the world we pretend to know all about. The Bermuda Triangle is a stretch of the Atlantic Ocean bordered by a line from Florida to the islands of Bermuda, to Puerto Rico and then back to Florida. Here ships and airplanes seem to disappear more often than in other parts of the ocean. Usually the craft are never seen again, which is not too surprising in an area noted for hurricanes and high waves.

We have collected a list of facts that most of us didn’t know about our bodies. Some of these are recent discoveries, while others have been known for some time know but didn’t get the right publicity. Here we go:

Scientists have discovered that certain brain chemicals in our tears are natural pain relievers.
Cell in the stomach secrete hydrochloric acid, a corrosive compound used to treat metals in the industrial world. The stomach walls keep the liquid safe, while breaking down lunch. The acid in your stomach is strong enough to dissolve razor blades.

For nearly 500 years, people have been gazing at Leonardo da Vinci’s portrait of the Mona Lisa with a sense of bafflement. Artists, historians and tourists have been fascinated by Mona Lisa’s enigmatic smile. Now it seems that the secret is being uncovered. Scientists analyzed the portrait of the Mona Lisa, a woman with famously mixed emotions, hoping to unlock her smile. They applied emotion recognition software that measures a person’s mood by examining features such as the curve of the lips and the crinkles around the eyes. Curious what they discovered?

The Mystery of Jack The Ripper

The name ‘Jack the Ripper’ has become the most infamous in the annals of murder, with an identity that remains hidden even today. In the years 1888-1891 the name was regarded with terror by the residents of London’s East End, and was known the world over. He was not the first serial killer, but he was probably the first to appear in a large metropolis at a time of turmoil.

The Black Dahlia Mystery

As a housewife and her daughter strolled on the corner of Norton and 39th, the two passed by several vacant lots that were overgrown with weeds. She caught a glimpse of something white in the bushes, what first appeared to be a store mannequin. But as she looked closer she realized that was no dummy, it was the dead body of a woman. On January 15, 1947, the severed body of Elizabeth Short was found in a vacant lot in Los Angeles, at 3800 Norton Ave, near 39th Street.
