The fascination for this started with an article in an Associated Press article, from August 13th 1978. Here singer and songwriter Ronnie McDowell said, “Sometimes I wonder if he (Elvis) really is dead. I wonder if maybe he just wanted to be free to walk around.” And then a year later, in a June 25th 1979 People Magazine Interview, country singer Merle Haggard voiced his opinion that Elvis death could have been a hoax - “It would be the first chance for freedom in his entire life, and it could have been a scheme Colonel Parker dreamed up.”

On September 11th 2001, BBC World reported at 4:57pm Eastern Time that the Salomon Brothers Building (more commonly known as WTC7 or World Trade Building 7) had collapsed. This is bizarre since the building did not actually collapse until 5:20pm EST.

According to USinfo.State.gov, many unfounded conspiracies continue to circulate on the internet, although these are purely based on speculation and no real evidence.
1. The World Trade Center (WTC) twin towers were destroyed by controlled demolitions.
Demolition is done from the bottom of the buildings. In this case, the WTC buildings collapsed from the upper levels down. None of the seismographs operating at other sites in Manhattan on September 11 didn’t detect any explosions on the site.

60 years have passed since a flying object was seen over the Cascade Mountains in Washington State, at a height of around
3000m. On July 2nd, 1947, this large and bright object crashed in the dessert with a big ka-boom. The government immediately went to investigate the incident and took the remains back to the Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. Local media quickly picked up on the story, a day later the government announcing that a balloon crashed.
